... have no agenda.

With so much ‘here’ here, it can be hard to choose your day’s adventure. After all, when two lakes, a waterside park, and the St. Vrain River are an extension of your backyard the options tend to be pretty enticing. (More on that — plus our pool, trails and more below.)

The lake(s) life

Why have one lake, when you can have two? The namesakes of our community provide opportunities to paddleboard, kayak or canoe. And anglers will appreciate the six designated fishing spots dotting the lakeside nature trail, and the chance to catch a bass, crappie, sunfish or bluegill. (Friendly reminder: make sure to have your Colorado Fishing License with you.) Of course, a day at the lake doesn’t mean you have to be on the water. There’s plenty of lakeside space that invites you to soak up the sun and take in the view.

Parks & trails

Peninsula Park is the largest in the community, and ideally situated among our two lakes. You can easily spend the day (or a large portion of it) here, thanks to a fitness lawn with outdoor workout equipment and fitness stairs, a picnic lawn, playground, shaded pavilions and an amphitheater. Even more parks pop up throughout our neighborhoods, offering places to play, right down the street from your home. And if you want to go out and hit the trails, you’ll find miles of them winding through the community, surrounding the lakes, and along the St. Vrain River, which we are fortunate to have right in our community.

The Cove

You don’t have to head to the lakes to be near water. The Cove is our community pool and gathering spot, with a splash pad, beach-entry pool and 6-lane competition lap pool. Plus a very a well-equipped fitness center, outdoor grills and firepits, pickleball courts, half-court basketball and a clubhouse for hanging out or getting together.

Explore the Community

While we’d love for you to come out and look around in person (nature is just best experienced that way), you can explore our community virtually with our interactive map. It’s not quite like being here, but the way we see it, a taste is better than nothing.

Where to find us

We’re right off I-25 at Exit 240 — just 15 minutes east of Longmont and north of Erie, and 30 minutes north of Downtown Denver.
